| Open all day We like to think that we offer great food and friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. We also aim to give our customers a flexible service and provide food all day at a time to suit you so if you fancy Parma Ham and Goats Cheese Salad for breakfast or Bacon, Scrambled Egg and Bagel for afternoon tea – then why not! See opening times Daily Specials It goes without saying that all our food is prepared using high quality, fresh produce. As well as our varied menu, we offer tempting daily specials, which are chalked up, on our blackboards. Why not try one of our famous Bistro Black Slates, or go for something light like a Caesar Salad or linger longer over a 2 or 3 course meal? Whatever your taste or appetite, you will be spoilt for choice! See sample menu or download the pdf of the menu. Wine The brief was simple. We said to Keith (our favourite wine merchant), “we want a simple and varied selection of highly drinkable European and New World wines. All must be available by the bottle and none of them must retail over 12 quid.” And that's what we've got – come and sample a glass! Home made cakes and savouries Karen's cakes are pretty hard to resist! If you happen to be strolling by early in the morning, you might just get a whiff of baking aromas such as coffee and walnut cake mingled with scones or carrot cake. Our delicious selection of cakes and savouries are baked fresh daily. Eat in or takeaway. Coffee We are real coffee lovers and have gone to great lengths to select good quality and fully flavoured beans. If you like good coffee, we believe you will like ours! Sandwiches Our sandwiches are pretty hard to beat – even if we say so ourselves! Prepared to order, they are served on soft rolls or panini with generous fillings using the freshest ingredients yet providing great value for money. Eat in or take away. Surf the web We've gone wireless! We provide a free 2mb connection so why not bring in your laptop and surf the web, whilst enjoying a coffee and a cake or hold an informal business meeting. There is a sense of excitement and a real buzz at these special evenings not to mention the superb food of course. Dear All, Karen and I are really happy to find out that again we have been shortlisted for Delicatessen of the year in the EATD Suffolk magazine. This wine, produce only in excellent vintages, has been aged in Slovenian oak barrels for a year then cellarage for 10 years. As it matures it achieves great charms and style due to the full body, the elegant aroma with rich & soft flavour.
